Listed below is a breakdown of services and associated costs offered depending on what you are looking for to help your child’s communication needs. All services are private pay unless you are contracting through Kaiser insurance.

 

Consultation

Cost: Free

Complimentary phone, email, or text message to discuss your child’s communication concerns to determine whether or not an assessment and/or therapy would be beneficial.

Evaluation

Cost: $350

Comprehensive, standardized and informal assessments of speech, language, social, fluency, voice, and oral motor skills. Includes medical and educational history, informal observations, and parent questionnaires. A 6 month treatment plan will be provided if your child qualifies for therapy. A review of records may be warranted if your child has previously received services through an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) through early intervention and/or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) through a school district or charter school.

Therapy

Cost: $140/session (individual) / $115/session (group)

Each session is 45 minutes long of direct therapy with 5 minutes of parent/guardian training and homework. Services may be provided either in-person in the clinic or virtually through teletherapy depending on the needs of the client and family.

Individualized Education Program (IEP) Support

Cost: $100/hour

Assist in the development and advocacy of your child’s IEP provided through a local school district and/or charter school. Assistance may be provided prior to or during an IEP meeting either in-person, virtually, or over the phone.

Individual Educational Evaluation

Cost: Varies

If you, as a parent of a child with a disability, do not agree with the results of the individualized evaluation of your child conducted by the school system, you have the right to obtain what is known as an Independent Educational Evaluation, or an IEE (§300.502).
